The orientation materials are drawn in large part from the Penn State World Campus GIS program. This is the program where I earned a certificate and then Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems.

Then Penn State (PSU) orientation materials are licensed under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license. The Orientation chapter shares (copies) and adapts the PSU work and is released under the same Creative Commons license.
